Those Botbots are aggressively Animated. If Mini-Cons has been a thing in Animated. They also remind me of those McDonald transformers things.

That Reck-Gar is weird. He's got the same weapon as that older one, with the clip on it and everything! But the real question is can other bots ride him?

They can't clip onto him like RtS Wreck-Gar can with his moldmates, but the deluxe Groove mold is of a good size for most Legends or some deluxe TFs to ride him (providing you take off the hand/foot/gun weapon).

I’ve had good luck with the 30th Anniv. Arcee mold riding Groove.

Also, the weapon can still clip onto him for storage, which is nice!

The one thing to watch will be her hands. They gripped the handlebars nicely, but the fragility of the open-palmed hands did worry me. Still, well proportioned for that cycle.

Playing a bit of catch-up on TF toy news:

First, official pictures of Siege Prowl, Pteraxadon, and Sixgun (presumably part of Wave 3):
http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/10/31/pteraxadon-prowl-and-sixgun-official-transformers-pics-from-lucca-cg-2018-375630

Less-blurry shots of Leader class DotM Megatron in packaging, confirming that green little blob next to him in the earlier pic is indeed Igor:
http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/11/07/transformers-studio-series-ss-34-dark-of-the-moon-megatron-packaging-375998

Pics of the blind-bagged (blind-balled?) Botbots Series 1 figures, which thankfully it looks like there's the same 24 in each case, so less randomness there:
http://news.tfw2005.com/2018/11/02/stock-images-of-blindbag-transformers-botbots-375746

And last but not least, listings were put up-- and fairly quickly pulled-- from Midtown Comics for "Power of the Primes Select Series" Red Swoop and Ricochet. No pics, but they're obviously redecos of PotP Swoop and Jazz. "Select Series" makes me wonder if we'll get more than just these two, though...

What is apparently the last wave of Bumblebee movie toys has been revealed-- two more Nitro class ($20) figures of Dropkick and Blitzwing (both in their aerial modes, and with proper new molds this time), and a Speed ($5) class figure redeco that is apparently a MOVIE SPOILER(!), so I won't mention it in the post:

We're finally getting a toy of Greenlight!

http://bwtf.com/news/siege-greenlight-reveal

Interestingly she is NOT a remold of Siege Chromia, but rather of PotP Moonracer/Novastar, so she's a combiner. Which kinda makes it stink that Chromia can't, because then we'd have had a full G1-Fembot combiner. She also comes with a a barely-repaint of Lionizer.

Is that all G1 fembots accounted for now in toy form? I THINK so....

Yeah, now Chromia is the odd one out. I'm not even a big fan of that mold, (the little pegs on the underside of the car-mode really bug me) and I don't know why they'd mimic it with out the combining gimmick, so it's extra weird to me.

One is left (Lancer). It looks as if a fifth bot is coming, to form a female combiner named Orthia: http://news.tfw2005.com/2019/01/03/hasb ... HbxTvUPYlc

It could have been Chromia, but nooo, they had to do a near identical form.

The Siege leader class version of Optimus is basically a redone Cybertron Prime!

http://news.tfw2005.com/2019/01/18/clear-in-hand-image-of-war-for-cybertron-siege-leader-class-optimus-prime-381061

It has better mold detailing, but Cybertron was practically the height of Transformers toys, IMO, in terms of quality without getting too complex. It's gonna be tough to top the original Cybertron Prime.

Chromia’s a bit smaller.

Thanks to her high profile in IDW, I surmise that they feel she warrants a unique mold.
