I actually had most of my hair when I started shaving my head in '98.

It's one giant movie named "Interstella 5555." Yep, the entire Discovery album is essentially a soundtrack. Except that the movie was basically made for the album, instead of the other way around. :3 If you ever get the chance to see it in its entirety, Acey, DO SO. It's great~ <3 I think you'd also enjoy the main person they got behind the whole project.

I saw it a long while ago when Toonamie showed it as part of their midnight run. And have since watched the videos in and out of order on youtube. Very cool stuff!

Anyways... *delves into Wiki* It was Leiji Matsumoto who they got behind Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem. Look at what he's gotten into and all, Acey... I think many of those are things you've seen and enjoyed. And, since he seems to be an apparent influence behind Daft Punk's music, and was directly behind Interstella 5555, makes sense you'd enjoy it. :3

Oh yes, love that kinda vintige anime style... they look more human than some of the more insect-like stuff that we get now a days... but some of that's good too.
