That would look cool... Go do it, Nate.

Yeah, I'm one of the handful of oddballs who LOVES the 25th Anni wave 1 comic pack Cobra Commander. There's just something about that obnoxiously bright blue and yellow that's so tastelessly HIM. But even I had to admit that he was a little short on paint applications, almost test shot like, so I went to him with black paint and touched him up a bit. I like him even more now! I know the area around the holster looks kinda blotchy, but that's the way it's sculpted; very rounded, and I made sure to follow the contours. After this, I went and caught a few bits of blue I'd missed. Not a maestro of repainting, I'll admit, but in this case, I did what I had to, and stopped before I messed up. ^ ^ And I LOVE that neon holster, so I only detailed it a little bit.

O_o You know those old comics really shouldn't be use for paint scheam ideas...

Imagin Transformers doing that... do you really want an "unpainted" Ironhide?

Yup. I also painted my black Cobra Commander's gloves entirely silver; sort of the opposite of your approach, but it goes nice with his silver belt and faceplate. Looks balanced. ^ ^

Cobra, they're cool.

This..., is The Dociverse. The place where all things small are larger than life. It had it's spontaneous beginings in the depths of time with The Micromaster Race Car Patrol. It grew quickly, and continues to expand, even as you read this.

Thanks! I never really complain about Hasbro and Joe redecoes, since my three favorite Joe characters happen to be Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. XD
