Oh, he'll be there, but he'll be an attendee exclusive repaint, I'm sure, redecoed into the most IMPORTANT possible character...they could leave out of the boxset both attendees and nonattendees can buy.

Here they COME! The Micro Military Division's newest addition: ALPHA SQUAD They're the first team when it comes to combat. There are 85 Members in the Military Divsion, but these 19 bots(15 vehicles) are the best of the best. All of the most experienced, battle hardened veterans. Masters of combat, strategy, stealth and especially teamwork. Their motto is "Work as one 'till the job is done."
Image

That's right! All of your G1 Micromaster military favorites are back in realistic, action-packed camo colors! Plus a few added bonus extras! And only the first 500 Universe Class ticket holder are guaranteed the opportunity to purchase 1 Box Set plus one set in official Doc-Con 2007 bags printed with individual figure pictures and names. So get your tickets now, don't miss Doc-Con 2007 in Las Vegas NV! This is a very special year, not only is this the inaugural Doc-Con(DC1) and The Movie is opening on the Forth of July, but the next day Las Vegas and Cybertropolis officially become "Sister Cities". The ceremony will be at the new LV City Hall, Oscar Goodman and Optimus Prime shaking hands on the front steps.., you can't miss that. There is a tentative plan for a jam session later in the evening with Oscar, Optimus and The Speaks Brothers Band. All parties have been contacted and are interested but there's no confermation so far. Let's cross our fingers.
Image

Here is a Botmode snapshot of all the troops hanging around on and in front of the trailers. The original plans called for heads and chests in other colors that would stand out for character identification and recognition, but our consultants insisted that fans were smart enough to know that even in bot-mode, they still need their full camo cover for combat operations. Most of the staff were initially against the idea, myself included, it's a toy and I want to see the robot plainly when it is transformed, but the consultants got to Doc and convinced him, and it's funny, but as soon as the boss liked the idea, so did the rest of us! Myself included! Imagine that! Hey....., uuuh.., do me a favor, don't tell "Old Ironbutt" that I said any of this stuff, he'd fire my keister, or even worse, make me work with those %^&$@%*& consultants.
Image
19 Bots and 2 trailers! It looks like a pretty fair box set so far, huh? You ain't seen nothin' yet!

Check it out lucky ticket holders! Here's the rest of what you get!
It's TFDoc Inc's new Micro Military HQ/Defense Base! *let's take a look around*
Image

The Gate. Just try to get in, I dare you. Universium-Steel alloy, 10 Billion Mega-Volt stun-charge, guarded on both sides and backed up by one bad-a**ed, double-sized mega dumptruck team, Grunt and Dogface. They are both the best there is at hand-to-hand, unarmed combat. Don't try to rush this gate. Doesn't that flag look familiar?
Image

The Central Bunker with Com Center, Helipad and The Big Door(it leads to the basement, you can see "Basecamp" coming out from the dark below)
Image

The Northwest Corner. Parts, ammo and vehicle storage. Careful of the razor wire, don't get cut.
Image

The Eastside. Fuel storage in the back and along the fence line is one of the bonus pieces, Minicon "Lowboy", yep, that's his name AND it's what he pulls.
Image

Sattelite photo. The rumor around the office is that this base came into being because when Doc was a little kid(only 29) and The Micromaster Stations came out he was greatly disappointed that there was no base for his military Mircos. He was reportedly heard to say "When I grow up I'll get to be the boss at the factory and then they'll HAVE to make one, bigger and better than ALL of the other Stations!" One childs dream comes true.., kind of chokes you up, doesn't it?
Image

Now wait..., that's an HQ, but didn't it also say Defense Base?

HQ.., TRANS-FORM!

Defense Base.., FIRE!!

To be continued.

Teaser: All HQ pieces are used for Defense Base Mode. How? Tune in next time and see.

EDIT: My most sincere apologies for the glaring shortage of blather accompanying some of the pictures. I have been experiencing a shortage of internet time due to personal duties and this morning is no exception, thusly I was unfortunately forced to rush my presentation. Perhaps I should have waited for a time when my full attention and imagination could have been employed toward the project without the distractions and pressures of the aforementioned chronological restraints. But alas.., no.

Whoa, that's an awesome display of military might! Hasbro doesn't do enough "Troop Builder" sets like this for Transformers; they're usually very cool when done for Joes. I'd totally buy, like, a four-pack of differently colored Battle Ravages or Divebombs.

Looking at your base, it's really interesting how other items of similar scale to Micros, like fences, can be so nicely integrated into Micro layouts. Speaking of military Micros, I'm awaiting the arrival of Flak, Sidetrack and Big Shot, myself (Still have to find Sunrunner...).

Having reread this in antisipation of the new stuff, I must say that the camo make it hard to see where one thing ends and another begins, and that's the point! So Exelent jorb.

I still love the blacked out Auto-logo.

Defense Base Mode!
"Prepare to repel attackers fron the south!"
Image

"Man your battle stations! Bring all weapons to bear!"
Image

"Open fire! Fire at will! Open fire! Fire at will!"
Image

"Keep pounding until they stop coming!"

So don't forget to get your Universe Class Packages before they're all sold out! DocCon 2007(DC1) will be THE TF event of the century! Don't wait and have to pay ridiculous ebay prices for this Exclusive Box Set.

And it's been confirmed, His Honor The Mayor of Las Vegas, Oscar Goodman and Autobot Legend, Leader and Bearer of The Matrix of Leadership, Optimus Prime, will be having a jam session/concert backed up by The Speaks Brothers Band on July 5th starting at 7:00pm on the Main Stage at The Fremont Street Experience(3rd & Fremont, Las Vegas NV). The Speaks Brothers will be opening the show, then Prime and Oscar will show up and co-headline the second set, then finish out the night singing and trading off on a variety of instruments with The Speaks Brothers Band and other local celebs like Gary Resigno(bass, guitar and Fitz Security Chief) Mike Darley(bass and Fitzgeralds GM) and Bruce Harris(bass and Fitz Casino Manager). And best news is, all Universe Class ticket holders get a backstage pass and an invitation to McAdams Old Oil House(upstairs at Fitzgerald's) for a private cocktail party with Op and The Mayor! "Martini for His Honor, Clear Oil on the rocks for Prime, a shot of Black Velvet for Ed Speaks(bass and boss), a shot of Yukon Jack for his brother Rick, *rumored to be actual TFDoc, but we know of no proof*(guitar and frontman), Heiniken for Benny Rowe(drums) and coffee black for The Venerable Mr. Dewey Dorough(sax and harmonica to the stars), and whatever any Playhouse Members want.., and keep 'em comin'! " That sounds like a party. It's gonna be a BFD so get your tickets PDQ or you'll be SOL. Be there or be square.

Man, I just love how that one building stands up on end to become the gun tower. The camoflage is all-around really effective, because if you were an attacker, you wouldn't really be able to tell if you were aiming at a building (Or what part of the building) or a trooper.

I gotta inquire, though, what did you use for that central building (In the middle of the compound in your first round of pics) with the satellite tower? I see what appear to be Micromaster ramps coming off the front, but it also looks like part of it is made of Legos or Mega Bloks.

And a little known fact is that Prime began his musical career as a beat poet:

See "Doll Party" in the Campfire section.

...What, you mean he was just a raving lunatic...? Riiiight, Nemesis Prime is the beat poet.

It's an altered Ironworks base with Hothouse's garage and Greasepit's roof thrown in there too.

I remember reading all this... It's part of why I made you expand, and before I started attempting to drive tent nail thingies into your feet to hold you in place.

Typical? TYPICAL?

I? Me? MOI? The ol' DOC? TYPICAL?

The creator of THE DOCIVERSE and your hero and fantasy lover..., TYPICAL?

I think not! You must excuse but not be surprised by my umbrage!

I am many things, not all of them good, though I would that it were different, I am, however, typical in none of my ways, means, intents or attitudes.

And FUTHERMORE..,

Oh... wait.., you said Aaa-typical. Now..., I'm not sure if that is an insult or not.., I'll have to get back to you latter.
