Not only is that a mobile version of FB (which is handy for me cause it means I can still get on it via my PS3) but those links all just took me to a feed of my FB stream. As a general rule: You really shouldn't try & link to things when your only net access is a mobile device. :glanceright: :;:

Randor, Panthor and Sy-Clone arrived! Randor looks like just a bit of a jerk; it's the whole quizzical one brow slightly cocked thing. I guess I was expecting a very benevolent-looking guy, but this is more fun! http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set= ... .651456412

THIS is why I knew MechTech would be fun!
Image
The Voyager Ironhide's MechTech gun barrel spins rapidly when you push the claw end of the weapon in. It's insanely addictive, like Strika's cannons, and looks awesome.

Backwards-compatible? Oh yeah.

DoTM 'Swipe is a little bland in the color department, but this is a strong mold! He has come a long way since the original deluxe Sideswipe.

He's a convertible, so not having a roof to hide helps make him more lithe...but even Sidearm 'Swipe was a step up from the original. Now if only we could get a new Human Alliance Sideswipe...

Got Roadbuster and Shockwave today...both toys I had originally not intended to get, but they called to me and are awesome!

Roadbuster is especially nice for a car-former. He has vast tracts of gray plastic, but he has an easy transformation and a nice look:

I figured it out! These guys are Junkions! British, NASCAR-obsessed (an extension of the whole TV obsession)...

This Battle Droid is pushing my Marvel TF buttons...reminds me of the original guys they would come up with. My second SWTF after the Darth Star:

And heck like the Dalek guy, he's a walking Sci-fi reference.

Sorry, Randor, this is woman's work! You'll have to find someone else to grill your meat this time.

Also, don't #@%& with the %#@&ing MOSS MAN.

I thought I'd edit and resize my better FB toy images and bring them over here. I'll try to be more consistent with this from now on; FB often makes the images bigger than I want, which reduces the resolution (i.e., they're meant to be seen at a smaller size). First up, MOTU.

Image
The pic that started it all! (“All” as in “He-Man characters do something while a crowd watches in disinterest.) You can see how small my MOTU collection was at that point. Mer-Man and Man-At-Arms are totally betting on the fight.

Yo Joe! Most of these are just random ideas I had playing around. There are a few bits of vague continuity, though. I should really just do a dio story at some point, but I only recently started building up my vintage collection, so the cast is kind of random. My focus was on ’87 and ’88, but now it’s “Hey, that’s cool, complete and relatively cheap!” So you can expect an eclectic mix of guys to show up.

Look forward to more Cobra personalities on the way, though! These guys are already becoming “my” versions in terms of developing some weird habits. Cobra Commander is worse than a teenage girl with that cell phone, and Frostbite is a sniping fanatic.

This post will be pic-heavy.
