"The thing is..."

Once upon a midnight dreary
Down, down, fallen down it did come
And awake
As awake as what was awake
Awakened...

In home, did I find you
In home, did home feel even as home?
A heart
A love
A loss...

Since when was home all too home?
Since when did midnight end the night?
Dreary and weary...
Down, down, fallen down...
Home did come
Home once was...

... The thing is, I just typed all of that by coming up with random words. >_>; I WAS just going to post random nonsense... But then this poem arose and I ran with it. :3

Wow, for randomosity it actually makes an interesting kind of sense. The first stanza makes me think of how the Transformers in the Movie (Or as Doc has taken to typing it, THE MOVIE ^_^) fall out of space, crashland and then transform (Come alive). The movie designers were very clever--they combined Beast Wars' Protoform and Stasis Pod into a single unit.

Heh. For me, it's merely about the loss of home... The saying "Home is where the heart is" being part there of. And, thus, the loss of heart... Of love... Yeah... :/

And it even covers so much more, going on with touching on things that may not have made that home very much a home. Kind of makes you wonder as to just why that home no longer stands...

>_>; Yes, I put a great deal of story into the things I do. x.x; Even if so little is typed, there is a LOT of story there...

I like your poetry/prose.

It's been said that you can never go home again, but I have been considering an attempt. I guess I may put that saying to the test.
This..., is The Dociverse. The place where all things small are larger than life. It had it's spontaneous beginings in the depths of time with The Micromaster Race Car Patrol. It grew quickly, and continues to expand, even as you read this.

I still like my 2 liner poem I did some years back...

"Written in stone, awake I lie... When will I no longer be petrified?"

I love how it has several meanings and ways to be read all at once due to the multiple meanings of the chosen words.

I like that, myself.

"Love is Black"

Love - real love - is black
Because it is a dark place to be
Those who exist it only experience pain, suffering, sorrow and harm

Love is black...
It is the worst way you could ever feel
Love is death.
