"Hey, remember yesterday when I was wearing yellow pants with that pink tank top and the green mohawk? No? Me neither."

The "Red" Ninjas are the worst offenders. Though T'Ginzu comes close, taking Storm Shadow's white outfit and adding a bright ORANGE mask!

The neon '90s characterized my childhood Joe experience. Only in retrospect do I see how crazy they were. At the time, they were just solid toys and I had a bunch of 'em. Still, I had a distant coveting for the classic stuff, probably part of why I glommed onto the Anniversary stuff and DEFINITELY why I've been working on a vintage collection of '80s figures.

That said, the neon colors must have registered with me to some extent: It's not surprisingly that I eventually stopped treating them as Joes and invented a super hero/soldier storyline for the toys I was getting. It was actually pretty involved!

I would expect no less for you.

Well, all toys were in those colors in those day, it was normal.
