I think it's called "Autocracy". :dazed2:

Anyways, MTMTE #5 is my favorite of the series. And I've said that about nearly every issue, but DANG, son. I did not expect what happened to happen. The best writers are definitely those that, in these kind of "mystery" plots, push you towards one conclusion while the correct conclusion is completely different, but it's not so OBVIOUS that they're pushing you towards that first conclusion; you think you're clever in that you're connecting the dots yourself, but nope, WRONG.

However much money he's making for writing these comics, James Roberts should make more. MUCH more.

Ennnh. I'm of a dual mentality on art books. On the one hand this WILL have great art... but on the other hand, it probably won't have a whole lotta words in it, hence art book. Which means I'll probably read through the whole thing in like 10-15 minutes.

I want a big book that just details all the stuff going on in the aligned continuity, with pictures, etc., the works (except for anything really spoiler-ish about Prime's future, obviously). Like the mythical "big continuity book" at Hasbro but with a few spoilery things removed. I wanna know the whole story with the 13 Primes, what Aligned Wreck-Gar looks like, how Junkion and Velocitron are doing/look like, etc.

I just like going over the art, studying the details. Probably why even the mediocre IDW TF comics still took me awhile to read when other people were like "I finished it in five minutes."

Speaking of art, Livio is back for issue 6 of RID! Love this guy's work. I followed him on DeviantArt well before he got the Chaos gig.

I have the Hellboy art book, and, while, mostly pictures, it also explains the origins of the character concept, and lost or unused art. It also includes the original version of a comic that was drawn in Sunday Funnies format, and totally redrawn for the trade. Art books are always fun to look at.

If it's more like that I might get it. If it's just various concept art of used characters and environments, half of which we've seen online already, I'll skip it.

To me concept art is the main draw of art books, I find it fascinating to see an artist's process. Me, I usually spend a lot of time thinking about a character's design before putting pencil to paper, but sometimes I do lots and lots of sketches to feel out the character. I know some artist like to design right on the final page, some will fill an entire book before finding that one pose. It's fun/cool to see how a guy works.

Awwwesome.

'though, I do kinda wish they had gone a little more old school with the coloring, but it still looks amazing.

I like that Furman made G2 Leadfoot a Wrecker; considering he gruesomely killed Razorclaw in G2, he has the cred.

I imagine a large portion of that had to do with Movie Leadfoot being a Wrecker.
