R.I.P. Buddy

So we unfortunately had to put my long-time pet, Buddy, down Monday. He had been declining for a long time, losing weight and all that, but in the last week or so leading up to Monday he had stopped eating and drinking entirely, and practically had to be force-fed. We quickly found out the issue-- he had a tumor quickly growing on one of his back legs. The vet said the only way they could save him would be to cut off the entire leg, and at his advanced age (14), it just wasn't a realistic option. (I've had him since 2003.)

Above is a picture of Buddy from a few years ago, when he was healthy. R.I.P., Buddy. The house feels a lot lonelier without you. You were practically my shadow when I was around the house. Such a loyal kitty...
