For a change of pace I played all the way through Flower and played a little of Flow. Man, That Game Company makes pretty games.

Played the Demo of The Unfinished Swan! So amazing. I'll get the full version later on. Also, played the first level of Duck Tales Remastered. And it's amazing, still having some issues with the controls, but first level. Played the original version back in the day on my cousin's game boy. Plus I just love Duck Tales.

The Unfinished Swan IS amazing. They keep hitting you up with new mechanics, too, it's not just the ink-blot thing the entire time. Though I will say the game is pretty short. It took me 4-5 hours total to complete, and I was pretty thorough.

On the PS3 now I'm playing an awesome downloadable game called Costume Quest 2. Another great game by Double Fine (I like their stuff so much I get everything they put out), and like the first Costume Quest it's a cute/funny mix of turn-based RPG-lite combat and exploration. Quite fun.

If you are considering getting it, you should definitely play the original first. The second one's story starts off RIGHT where the DLC for the original game's story ended; there is no story recap or anything. And they don't walk you through all the particulars of gameplay this time (outside of combat), so you might miss out on some of the not-so-obvious stuff.

Speaking of being topical-- the PSN store is having a flash sale on many indie titles throughout the weekend. Among them are the Unfinished Swan for $5 and Costume Quest 2 for a mere $3.

Just sayin'.

Finished The Unpainted Swan. This is the exact type of game I love. Quiet and fun and BEAUTIFUL.

I'll be going back to Cybertron now.

Taking a break from the PS3 and am playing the Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm campaign on the PC. I was sort of wary on how interesting the story would be given how single-minded the Zerg are, but they really expanded on them. I mean, actual Zerg CHARACTERS besides Kerrigan? Who knew?

Finished Machinarium, good solid puzzle game with great art. Some of the puzzles are frustratingly difficult, and the last one was piano based and impossible for me, so I had to use the provided cheat book. It's also got some 8-bit games peppered in there and those are fun too!

Played through Brothers, man that ending, that ending. Beautiful game with great mechanics, difficult to handle, but great!

I might give Trypicon another go before trying another indy game.

That game is pretty notorious for it's jumps in logic.

OH. I still didn't get that, I thought they were frozen people, but when you move the catapult they just crumble. I thought it had something to do with the invisible giant. Gotta play that again sometime.
