His name's Thunderhoof.

These things are like Battle Beasts with vehicle modes!

Here's the opening sequence!

Also, a list of the cast, and David Kaye is Hammerstrike, the shark guy! He already has one of my favorite designs, so this pleases me greatly.

Optimus Prime: Peter Cullen
Bumblebee: Will Friedle
Strongarm: Constance Zimmer
Sideswipe: Darren Criss
Fixit: Mitchell Whitfield
Grimlock: Khary Payton
Jazz: Arif S Kinchen
Drift: Eric Bauza
Jetstorm & Slipstream: Roger Craig Smith

Underbite: Liam O'Brien
Steeljaw: Troy Baker
Hammerstrike: David Kaye
Bisk: Khary Payton
Chop Shop: David Hunt
Terrashock: Kevin Michael Richardson
Thunderhoof: Frank Stallone
Filch: Constance Zimmer
Springload: John Steven Rocha
Ped: Eddie Deezen
Quillfire: Andy Milder
Fracture: Kevin Pollack
Airazor: Roger Craig Smith
Divebomb: Khary Payton
Clampdown: Jim Cummings
Denny Clay: Ted McGinley
Russell Clay: Stuart Allan

Yes, the buffalo guy is voiced by Sylvester Stallone's brother!

Nice to see Kevin Pollack in there, too. He's a really talented voice actor/impressionist, something I didn't know until I Youtubed him (having only been familiar with him as an actor).

Here's Clampdown: http://ww2.sinaimg.cn/mw690/69a6a1d0gw1 ... 0k0djj.jpg

Wow, that... I don't know how I feel about that Clampdown. He looks a bit TOO goofy/crazy. I hope that's just the screencap. Everything/one else, nice!

I like him because he reminds me of something from Webdiver. I never did pick up any toys from that line...sadly enough. It was from before I could really buy a lot of stuff online.

I still want that Pirate Ship/Dragon. I should look for him at Botcon!

I should make a want list this year.

Darnit.

That's an awesome idea, but with all these Decepticons coming in just 13 episodes there's no way all of them will be made into toys, and I have a strong feeling that Chop Shop there ain't gonna make the cut. (Pun not intended, actually.)

No, no. The idea I had in the dream was that the Autobots were all spiders, and the Decepticons were all three robots that combined into a single construction vehicle!

Well, depending on how long the show lasts they might make them later... then again we never got a Breakdown. No one to buff Knock Out. :sadder:

For those not wanting to wake up at 6 AM on Saturdays or resort to YouTube, and like me, with no trust in CN releasing a DVD, the first five episodes are on iTunes for $2.99 each. I watched the first episode on YouTube and liked enough that I'm downloading from iTunes.

Edit: Watched the first three--yeah, this show is great!

I have to say, the Decepticons in this show are all refreshingly unique and strange personalities. Part of it is the voices, too; Underbite being some sort of evil Texan wrestler, cockney guy Chop Shop, Aussie pirate Hammerstrike...and now Thunderhoof, an antler-headed mob boss voiced by Frank Stallone! 'ey YO!

Steeljaw is also delightfully suave and creepy; I still have no idea what his real agenda is (I half believe that he wants to live in peace on Earth) and I'm really looking forward to seeing more of him. I like how he created his own faction symbol by slashing his Con symbol with his claws and that's now how he inducts other Cons into his faction.

It is funny that Terrashock, the buffalo guy, was a mob enforcer for someone named Contrail back on Cybertron, and the next episode we meet a different Cybertronian mob boss eager to return to his turf. I wonder if they'll free Terrashock at some point and if so, he'll end up following Thunderhoof now.

Actually the whole "claw marks across the 'Con logo" thing is to disable the tracking devices the Decepticon prisoners had implanted in them, if you'll remember. That's why the Autobots can't locate Steeljaw and Co.

But yeah, I'm really liking the new 'Cons. Though if you want to see a Decepticon that'll surprise you, man, just wait 'till you hear Ped. His voice and his looks are a total disconnect, and as you watch the episode you'll get that it's supposed to be that way.

Oh, right! It does ID Steeljaw and his followers nicely.
