The original card art showed her cleavage!

It's tradition.

Don't forget she also nearly took her top off in the comics.

Well at least they didn't try to also get her butt into the poster too.

Yeah, that would require the usual comic book back-breaking.

Her role as the "sexy" female Joe does work with her specialty of intelligence-gathering. They avoided the prototype name of "Shady Lady" but ended up naming her for the wife of Jay Baccal, the head of Sunbow, which raises MORE questions.

Have always preferred her to Scarlett (and Flint to Duke). They have more bite. I like how she would be catty with Scarlett or hit Flint (who deserved it). That relationship is more entertaining than the SE-Scarlett, where they have little friction. And how she pretty much led the team in some episodes of the cartoon was nice.

Dwayne Johnson has confirmed that they are doing some reshoots. There's also rumbling that they may be writing more Duke/Channing Tatum material into the movie. It looks like the movie didn't fare well with test audiences. So the 3D might be somewhat of a publicity smokescreen for retooling the picture.

I've read some rather compelling arguments that maybe it's a good idea to wait until March instead of pitting it against Dark Knight Rises and Amazing Spider-Man, seeing as how Battleship was obliterated by The Avengers at the box office (I mean, of course The Avengers would do well for obvious reasons (because it is awesome) but I can see Hasbro being gun shy).

Comments from the behind-the-scenes panel:
-In the first film they made Ray Park wear a rubber suit as Snake Eyes, which really restricted his movement (and he sweated like hell). This time they did a flexible, breathable suit that lets him do all his moves.
-Firefly is a crazy Irish IRA-type guy; costume intros some biker feel with leather elements in the jumpsuit
-Dwayne Johnson got so buff in filming he asked that they resculpt his toy. His hands are so huge that they needed custom grips for his Battle Kata weapons system (which is awesome, looks like interchangable weapons with brass knuckle-style handles). The idea is that you have a gun, jettison the gun barrel, attach a knife to the handgrip, etc. All the various weapon attachments are on the trooper's vest. This is actually in the movie.
-Johson: "You gave him an ostrich neck. I have the neck of a brahma bull"
-Willis saw Johnson's figure and made them make his more muscular. Then Johnson wanted his to be bigger than Wiilis'. And so on. Infinite loop!
-Each Joe has unique weapons and costume elements
-Ninja scenes used real swords, they had a Steven Seagal-like trainer on hand
-They built an authentic-looking dojo set
-Overall aim is realism, Joe meets Black Hawk down
-Bruce Willis, Johnson and director Chu are big fans; Willis kept ad-libbing lines.
-Rapper RZA (playing Blind Master) specially suggested the weapons for his toy (which led Hasbro to have to do new tooling, since the Hasbro guy had never heard of most of 'em!)

We were allowed to take pics of the concepts; will post after the con as they are on my camera.
