The theatrical live-action version of a popular cartoon series ran roughshod over the competition on the DVD charts this week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra swept all of the home video charts, for the week ending November 8.

The title sold a whopping 3.8 million units in its first week, with 500,000 units sold in the Blu-ray format. Those numbers make G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra the third highest-selling disc of the year, behind Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Twilight.

Excellent!

Yeah, I'm not interested in a story where the main character talks about how good looking she is and all, either. :=.=:

Reverb is meant to reference Inferno; it even says "Colony Racing" on him. Unfortunately, this is a toy even *I* won't buy, he's a few colors too many, making him...unfortunate. Fortunately, Trenchmouth, the next repaint of him, strips off the ugly color (The blue/white) just making him black and two shades of red.

Yeup; just sharing the knowledge of an homage toy I didn't even know was such until recently.

But yeah...Voyager-class BW Inferno, Hasbro! Make 'im casemates with that Voyager Universe Rhinox that they want to make.

The world needs MORE BW Inferno. ;x: Imo, he has FAR more right to the name than the G1 character.

Indeed! What was fun was that Inferno's TM toy was named Scavenger, making it a totally new character! (Always thought he looked like a Shakespearian lord.)
