I don't know if they're actually planning on making the G2 Orange or SG color schemes of the Constructicons, but even though I'm getting the Hercules "traditional G1 colors" set, I'd totally spring for Maketoys' Giant if they released it in SG colors. My SG toys could always use beefing up.

Also:

I thought TFC might be doing this. I'm not sure the numbers the Hercules components are being produced in, but if these neo-Protectobots are released in similar pricing, I'll get them. If it's much more than that due to the "limited to 1000 pieces", then I'm afraid I'll have to pass.

I'm honestly glad Hasbro is starting cut back on the product a bit; leaves me more money for this stuff, as there's SO MUCH good 3rd-party stuff that's been revealed in the past couple of months.

Cool 3rd party G1 Megs; I hope Takara does one like this to go with MP 10 Convoy.

It's crap like that which drives me to have a very passionate dislike for GeeWunners. & subsequently why I refuse to let go of my irrational hatred for the G1 toon.

The Fallen!

I think Megs makes sense with the G1 form as a counterpart to MP-10 Convoy. Not sure how known IDW is to these guys, who are all from Asian countries. When you consider that G1 was pretty much the only cartoon aired in China, its huge influence makes sense.

The Fallen suggests they're only up to Dreamwave. XD

Well, Dreamwave was the first Transformers comic to be sold in those parts... sadly enough.

If Classics Jetfire wasn't ideal for you try this for your modernized G1.

Having gotten the PE Rewind and Eject, I am pleased with their quality. Hope these are substantially sized.

His alt mode from the IDW BW comic, presumably. It was sort of a walking tank thing.
